Sponsorships are being sought for the 2008 Indy Book Talk Conference Presented by WriteStuff Writers to be held at Lawrence North High School on Friday, October 10th and Saturday, October 11th.

Friends of MSDLT: $300 to $500

Sponsor support will serve to help underwrite cost for commemorative gift bags, printing and advertising services and event promotions. Logo (company name) to appear in Book Talk program and company literature/handouts to be included in Gift Bags for all event attendees.

Galley Sponsor: $1,000 non-exclusive or $3,000 exclusive

Sponsorship of Friday Evening Wine & Cheese Reception

This reception allows WriteStuff Attendees to network while meeting sponsors, authors and special guests. Entertainment to be offered during the evening. - Open to exclusive or collective body of sponsors who agree to underwrite the program.

Prior to Saturday Book Talk event, a popular 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Friday night Wine & Cheese Reception is hosted with local, regional and national authors, special guests, artists and WriteStuff attendees. As the sponsor of this popular preview event party, sponsors receive the following:

  • Sponsor introduction at beginning of event
  • Signage in the host hotel lobby and room site
  • Quarter page ad in the WriteStuff’s Book Talk Event Program
  • Four complimentary passes for the Saturday conference
  • Company promotion: Galley sponsor will be invited to provide company literature, special feature information or company specialty items of choice for insertion in Gift Bags for all Book Talk attendees

“Brown Bag” Luncheon Sponsor: $3,000

Sponsorship for Saturday’s Author Brown Bag Luncheon

Sponsor benefits include:

  • Sponsor’s name/logo as “Host” for the Brown Bag Luncheon and will be included in a full page ad direct mailed to 90,000 northeast Indianapolis residents
  • Sponsor will receive a 3′ x 2′ banner with logo/name on display outside Brown Bag luncheon hall
  • Sponsor logo banner will be displayed at skirted speaker and guest head table
  • Sponsor will introduce luncheon moderator with opportunity to highlight corporate role in Indy Book Talk event
  • Sponsor will receive 6’ skirted vendor table in Exhibit area
  • Four guest passes to Friday Night Wine and Cheese Reception
  • Six complimentary passes to Saturday’s Brown Bag Luncheon

Patron for Celebrity Author Appearances

Open to sponsors or could grant an exclusive right to single sponsor. Moneys will underwrite the travel expenses of celebrity authors.

Best-Seller Sponsor: $3,000

Media Sponsor for Book Talk

Exclusive by media (Print, Radio/TV/Internet—Trades available). Sponsorships will support the marketing and advertising efforts of the Indy Book Talk Conference.

Literacy Benefactor Sponsor: $2,500 per scholarship

Origination goal of creating five (5) new MSDLT Scholarships for students of need in the credit recovery program. Open sponsorship. Exclusive if requested by one corporate sponsor to support five (5) scholarships for high school students at risk. Scholarship will carry sponsor name in honor of support. Checks are paid directly to the MSDLT Community Education Program which is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization.
